pumpkin bars













mokwo suka cube something new, something yg seingat2 mokwo tak pernah singgah kat anak tekak nih..so as soon as mokwo nampak resepi nih kat joyofbaking, mokwo memang nak cube...nampak leceh dan remeh..tapi kalau siapkan bahan2 dia awal2 , sebenarnye kuih nih tak lah susah nak buat...mokwo bakar dulu kacang dan buat labu lecek terlebih dahulu...jadi tinggal nak buat crust and topping dia aje...senang kan


rasanye...memang susah nak crite...lain betul tapi memang sedapp sampai jilat jari ...so start cari labu yeh...jgn terjun ngan labu tu udahleeee...

Hazelnut Shortbread:
1/2 cup (50 grams) raw unpeeled hazelnuts
1 cup (130 grams) all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 cup (113 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature
1/2 cup (110 grams) light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Pumpkin Filling:
2 large eggs
1 - 15 ounce can (425 grams) pure pumpkin (2 cups)
3/4 cup (165 grams) light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1 1/2 cups (360 ml) heavy cream
Garnish: (optional)
1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy cream
1 tablespoon (15 grams) granulated white sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (177 degrees C) and place the rack in the center of the oven. Line the bottom and sides of a lightly buttered 9 x 13 inch (23 x 33 cm) baking pan with a 22 inch (56 cm) long piece of aluminum foil that has been buttered and floured.


Hazelnut Shortbread:
  • oleh kerna panjang sgt dia punye explaination , mokwo tulis kot version ape yg mokwo paham
  • bakar hazelnut dlm oven till brown. buang kulitnye
  • kisar hazelnut bakar tadi.
  • campur semua bahan2 dlm mangkuk adunan, uli till semua bahan2 sebati,.
  • leperkan atas loyang yg telah dialas ngan baking sheet bakar lebih kurang 20 min pd api 175 C atau tengok sampai dia dah jadi brown skit.
  • keluarkan dr oven . tekan crust tu dgn sudip supaya mampat. ketepikan

Pumpkin Filling: tak yah byk cite
  • masuk semua bahan2 filling dlm blender. blendlah till sebati
  • tuangkan atas crust tadi
  • bakar at 175c for 30-40 min .depends on your oven lah!


Garnish: Whip the cream with the sugar until stiff peaks form. Place the whipped cream in a piping bag fitted with an open star tip and pipe a small rosette of cream on top of each pumpkin bar. ( mokwo tak buat pung!!)

mokwo tabur je biji kuaci yg dah siap kopek utk hiasan..
Makes 32 pumpkin bars.
