kek paun gula merah

ceduk resepi dr blog Ellie of Almost Bourdain...dia buat kan nampak moist semacam je..tapi kek mokwo nih jadi kering skit...mungkin telur mokwo tak brape nak besar.. atau susu ade kureng skit kot...ape pun yg pasti kek nih ..baunye begitu harum..n rase dia mcm nak rase kiuh bingke cuma lebih sedap.! yg berbijik2 tuh mokwo buh dried persimon...beli tak de sapa nak mkn ..tapi buh dlm kek makan plak...mcm2 lah..anyway tq Ellie...your cake recipes are so lovely make me wish that i could try them all!


Brown Sugar Pound Cake Recipe
(Adapted from Good Housekeeping Best-Loved Desserts)

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour#
3/4 tsp salt#
1/2 tsp baking powder#
1/2 tsp baking soda#(sifted)
10 tbsp (1 1/4 sticks) butter or margarine, softened (mokwo use 150gm)
1 cup pack dark brown sugar
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tbsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup whole milk
1/2 cup chopped dried persimmon

method:
  1. beat butter n sugar til fluffy. scrapping the side most of the time.
  2. add in eggs to the mixture one at the time with mixer is in medium speed mode.
  3. add in the sifted ingredients alternating with milk till finish.
  4. finally put in chopped persimmon that already pre-mixed with a little flour.
  5. pour the mixture in the greased and lined baking pan ( mokwo used the 8" spuare pan)
  6. bake at 170 C for 40-60 minit.

salam Jc, klau nak cube kek tuh mokwo nasihatkan tambah lebih skit butter n satu lagi telur...but memang seddp kek nih rasa butterscotch( ellielah kata)...but seriously yummy
